Yes, I’m aware that I suck at blogging lately, but give me two weeks. Then my first semester of grad school is over and I’ll have a life for a month and I’ll be able to entertain your reading eyes again. But don’t get used to it. Because I do have to go back to school the beginning of June…
ANYWAY- I’m watching TV, and a commercial comes on and the spokesperson declares the product to be “more fun that you can shake a stick at.”
Can anyone explain what the crap that means?…

well, everyone clearly knows that in ancient times when toy dogs would entertain the royalty of kingdoms afar, the jesters of the court would come in, terrified that 1) the dogs would bite and 2) they would soon be out of a job. jesters always, despite any physical ailment, would travel with walking sticks, and thus, the “shaking of the stick” became the only means of disturbing the toy dog entertainment…”the fun” that the “stick shaking” was in response to would quickly come to and end.
